The Wizards fell to the Miami Heat 118-98 Saturday night in Mexico City, the c capital of the beautiful nation of Mexico. Jordan Poole and Bilal Coulibaly again formed a very dynamic duo, combining to score 43 points but it was this year’s number two overall pick who provided much-needed help to the Wizards. He not only scored 17 points on an efficient 7-11 shooting. He also provided 4 blocks. Let’s break down the good, the bad, and the ugly about Saturday night’s loss in Mexico City, Mexico.

The Good

Poole and Coulibaly form a nice combo and have shined. It was Sarr who stepped up next that impressed me. Scoring 17 points, efficient on offense, and the rim protector on defense, he stepped up for a young Wizards team who suffered from a cold 2nd unit.

The Bad

The bad was the Wizards three-point shooting. The Wizards shot 7-35 from three and it killed the team. Sharpshooters Corey Kispert and Kyshawn George missed a combined 12 threes.

The Ugly

The ugly was the rebounding. The Wizards not only lost the battle of the rebounds 73-52, they gave up 32 points and 14 rebounds to Bam Adebayo.

Next up comes Jordan Pooles former employers, the Golden State Warriors. Next is my keys to victory and prediction.

1. Win the paint - Sarr vs undersized Trayce Jackson-Davis.
2. 2nd unit needs to step up - most notably JV, Kispert, and JD.
3. Let Poole loose - Let him have his revenge.

Prediction-
Warriors over Wizards 125-107
Poole drops 40
