The Phoenix Suns secured one of their most encouraging wins of the season, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 111-109. Let’s break down the good stuff from this game and what it means for the team moving forward.

• We witnessed an impressive three-point shooting display from the Suns, going 22-of-47 from beyond the arc.

• Devin Booker and Kevin Durant’s chemistry was on full display. Their ability to read each other and make the right decisions late in the game is encouraging.

• The Suns showed resilience by weathering the Clippers’ third-quarter storm. They have struggled with this in the past, so it’s great to see improvement.

• Our team found joy in playing together, which hasn’t always been the case this season. It’s refreshing to see the guys having fun on the court.

• The Suns are 8-2 in their last 10 games. This run shows they might be turning a corner, but consistency is key moving forward.

• The Suns’ frontrunner mentality is both a blessing and a curse. We’re great when things are going well, but they need to improve their response when they get punched in the mouth.

• Nick Richards struggled against Ivica Zubac, leading Coach Budenholzer to close with Mason Plumlee. It’s good to see Bud making adjustments to win games.

• We got a glimpse of what the Suns’ playoff rotation might look like. Expect some changes before the postseason, though.

• Booker and Durant both played 40 minutes again. While it’s working now, we’re concerned about the sustainability of these heavy minutes.

• Bradley Beal’s fit with the team remains a question mark. He only took eight shots tonight, which isn’t ideal for a third max contract player.

• Royce O’Neale started instead of Beal, primarily to defend James Harden. This adjustment worked well.

Remember, the Suns are making progress, but there’s still work to be done. Stay locked in with us as we continue to analyze the Suns’ journey through the season.
